siete preguntas [him + her edition]

I decided to combine our answers this week, since the questions were sometimes the only posts on the blog, haha. What can I say? Not a whole lot going on right now and we both like these. (PS, I commented on some of his answers in parentheses.)
[circa Dec. 2011]

1. What is your favorite color TO WEAR?

her: Well...normally I would say black, but my favorite color to wear is blue (all shades-I think it brings out my eyes). I wore a cute outfit on Sunday with a seafoam/turqoisish cardigan, navy blue tee, and grey&white polka dot skirt and felt pretty spring-ish.
him: Any color that relates to my sports teams.

2. You are given the choice between visiting every country and landing on the moon. Which would you choose?

her: Like I've said before, space scares the moon is out. I have always wanted to travel, so I would pick visiting every country. I'd love to get to know my own planet first, thankyouverymuch.
him: Visiting every country.

 3. What's your favorite animal and why?

her: My favorite animal since I was a little girl has always been the horse. They're just so beautiful and graceful and powerful. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to own a horse, and you don't even want to know how many horse books I read. I had a bookmark in the"H" encyclopedia, so I could look at the different types of horses for hours (before the days of google). Dogs are a close second though.
him: Wolverine, because they're tiny but dangerous! But if it's a pet animal, dog.

4. You are forced to do one of the following, which would you choose? Sky dive, scuba dive, or this:

her: Geez, well I'm scared of heights and of drowning. BUT, I think I would choose the rope swing. That looks like it would be such a rush, and I'd rather be attached to a rope rather than free-falling. Knowing me though, it would take me forever to work up the courage to jump, and then I would probably run into a rock. Ha. Scuba diving someplace like Hawaii or the Great Barrier Reef would be fun, too. I'd just need practice not hyperventilating.
him: Scuba dive. (Just watching that video made his palms sweaty, fyi. He's more terrified of heights than I am, I think.)

5. You are given the chance to go back in time. Which era would you visit?

her: I love reading historical fiction from all eras, but I don't think I could willingly give up modern conveniences. I think it would be interesting to visit the mid 20th century, around the time of WWII. I love the styles and culture surrounding that time period....and the music! Jazz and big would all be interesting and rich, I think (I did just see The Notebook again on TV the other day, so my mind is on that era I guess).
him: The Book of Mormon era. It would be cool to meet all the people I've read about my whole life.

6. If you had the power to remove one thing (ie: flies, mosquitos, junk food) from the earth for good- what would it be?

her: Politics. I was actually just thinking about this the other day. My initial reaction to this question was something along the lines of disease and suffering, which would be an excellent thing to be rid of, but then I thought of diseases of the human spirit. Politics bring out so much ugliness in people and it sickens me. I think the world would be a more pleasant and simple place to live if everyone could just get along.
him: Pornography. It's so sad what it does to families.

7. What is one thing you've learned from Pinterest that made you think "GENIUS"!

him: Get rid of it. (Hey! I've found some good recipes on there!) Fine. All my wife's recipes.
her: Haha, to be honest, I think the term "genius" is used a little liberally on Pinterest (no offense). There so many great ideas though! Anyway, that being said, this tutorial was pretty ingenious to me! I've been wearing a boring old topsy-tail for pretty much my whole life and never thought to change it up in so many different ways.

  1. i love that #6 was answered with politics and pornography. true on both accounts!

  5. Good stuff! :] And I can't believe TJ's initial answer to the Pinterest question was to get rid of it! Haha. I'm sure lots of awesome things around your house are from Pinterest. Along with lots of your yummy foods of course. That's funny! And seriously, both of your answers to number six are awesome! And how have I not seen that topsy turvy revisited thing on Pinterest? I am hunting it down on your page now!

Thanks for reading! I love reading your thoughts, too :)
